Michael Donoghue: Mike was a former Executive Officer (and current Board member) for Wilson Farms and Sugar Creek Convenience Stores, SuperValu, Cub Foods, Save-a-lot, as well as  Ahold Worldwide, Ahold U.S.A., Tops Friendly Markets, Tops Food and Drug Superstores, and Vix Deep Discount Drug Stores.  Mike led Ahold U.S.A. and Tops to record sales, profits, and market share growth while serving as COO and EVP.  Mike was responsible for all areas of Operations including Store Operations, Supply Chain, Warehousing and Transportation, Distribution Agreements, and all labor negotiations for stores and distribution.  Mike served capably on the Executive Committee of Ahold and Tops for several years and is one of the most highly regarded executives in the U.S. food and drug retail industry.

 


Ken Teague: Recognized for his expertise in retail strategy, category management and co-marketing, Ken has worked with leading retailers and suppliers across the country.  Ken has built the biggest food retail impact database in the industry and he has conducted leading edge market analyses and assessments across the food retailing industry. Ken is an industry expert on both Walmart and food retailing competitive market expansion analysis.  His expertise in retail technology and marketing/sales analysis has lead to the development of software applications and analytical models for both top retailers and national brand and private label manufacturers.  Prior to teaming with Burt Flickinger at SRG Consulting, Ken headed up retail technology for Glendinning Associates and Reach Marketing and has worked with Mr. Flickinger for over 20 years.


Henry Mellet: Henry joined SRG in 1998, and works with Cy on identifying new MVR locations and remodels, new location mapping, and pricing for strategic defense initiatives. His analyses are used by top retailers and wholesalers to assess potential sales rationalization and determine appropriate strategic planning initiatives. Mr. Mellet is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and has food service and retail operating experience, in addition to his consulting experience.

 

Cyril Mellet: Cy joined SRG in 2009, and works on conducting research and fieldwork on growing Price Impact formats. In addition, he works with Henry on identifying future non-union store opening and remodel projects. Cy is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, where he won two collegiate championships in different boxing weight classes. He served as a pilot in the Middle East during the War in Iraq, and finished his 9-year Naval career as an instructor.

 

Tom Billings: Tom has a proven track record in strategic planning, systems, supply chain, sales, retail operations, industrial engineering and front line management.  While working at Ahold—a leading convenience store, C&G, and food & fuel retailer—Tom oversaw multiple continuous improvement, engineering and technology implementations for 350 retail locations. Initiatives spanned front-end to back room, customer services and customer loyalty programs.  He also was chosen to lead a 90 convenience store acquisition distribution transition planning and implementation for the Ahold Masters Management Development Program from 1999-2001. Tom served as a Project Manager for Freight Handlers, LLC,, directing supply chain, warehousing and transportation operations, business, and systems consulting.
