David W. Berry

David has participated in hundreds of labor negotiations consisting of thousands of bargaining sessions in the retail, construction, manufacturing, logistics, health care, and law enforcement sectors. He’s advised chief negotiators, CEOs, and other high-level management. David has worked closely with private and public companies, public entities, labor unions, benefit trust funds, accounting, actuarial and law firms, industry organizations, and third-party mediators/arbitrators.

David perfected computerized labor and benefit costing systems employed in real-time during labor negotiations for The Stop & Shop Companies. While at Stop & Shop and continuing through his tenures at Bradlees Department Stores and American Stores Company, Mr. Berry developed various quantitative models to aid labor negotiators in predicting the impact of contractual changes on the operational and financial structure of the organization.

​David is a graduate of the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.), with a concentration in labor relations and human resource management and a minor in financial management.
